Pregnancy update

This is the most recent picture. I need to do a new one since its almost 6 weeks old already, however, I don't think I'm much bigger. I'll be 23 weeks at the end of the week. I've really started to feel her move in the past couple of days and Dave was able to feel her last night. I've had a very easy time. I can't really complain, my "symptoms" have been rather minor. Half the time I need to remind myself I'm pregnant. I can't believe how fast the time is going. Dave has been busy getting her room ready and doing other projects around the house so everything is "fume" free and clean by time she gets here.

20 Week ultra sound

Oh the Changes...

This past week has been filled with wonderful surprises! So many good things are happening...First I was asked to teach two classes at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I will be teaching a Masters level and a Doctoral level class (at first it was two Masters, but that changed today). Then on Wed I got a call offering me the job as an associate director at the Chicago School. I start July 29. I am super excited, but super nervous at the same time. Everyone there has been so wonderful and helpful. I am really looking forward to working there. After 10 years I was able to put in my two week notice at the dermatologist....feels pretty weird. Then this weekend Dave and I went for our first ultrasound. We went to a private company that does pictures, videos, and we got a stuffed animal with the baby's heartbeat on it. It was pretty amazing to see the baby....very active and loved using my bladder as a trampoline. To top it off we were able to find out the sex of the baby...we are having a baby GIRL! We are so blessed to have all these wonderful things happening in our lives. Thanking God everyday! Below you find the pictures. We're Expecting

For those of you who haven't heard....Dave and I are expecting a baby in early Jan. Doctor has given me a tentative due date of Jan 12 and change it if need be after my first ultra sound. I am feeling pretty good. I have to eat often and if I don't then I feel crummy. The biggest thing is that I am really tired all the time and lose energy very quickly.

Graduation & Hooding

I had my hooding ceremony on June 6 and graduation on June 8. It seemed like I had been waiting forever for them to arrive. Since pictures are worth a 1,000 words I'll keep it brief and post some pictures!
